This combined SMS Messaging Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy (the "SMS Policy") governs your participation in any text messaging (SMS/MMS) program offered by TechnAssociates, LLC ("TechnAssociates," "we," "us," or "our"). By opting in to receive SMS messages from us, you agree to the terms below.

This SMS Policy is specific to our text messaging communications and supplements our general Website Privacy Policy and Website Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not opt in or reply to our messages.

1. Program Description

By opting into our SMS messaging service, you agree to receive non-automated text messages from TechnAssociates. These messages may include:

• Service updates, appointment reminders, or project status notifications related to our IT consulting, security assessments, or strategic planning services.

Messages are infrequent and ad-hoc one-to-one communications.

• You consent by: (a) providing your mobile number via our website forms, client      intake, or other explicit methods; (b) replying affirmatively to a confirmation request; or (c) other clear opt-in actions.
• By opting in, you represent that you are the account holder or have permission from the account holder for the provided mobile number.
• Consent is not required as a condition of purchasing any goods or services     from TechnAssociates.
• Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for details.

We do not send unsolicited marketing texts. All promotional SMS require appropriate consent.

3. Opt-Out and HELP Instructions

You may opt out of our SMS program at any time:

• Reply STOP, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or END to any message you receive from us.
• We will send a confirmation that you have been unsubscribed and will no longer receive messages (except for a one-time confirmation if required).
• After opting out, you can rejoin by providing your number and consenting again      through our standard opt-in process.

For help or more information, reply HELP to any message. We will respond with details about the program, opt-out instructions, and support contact information.

Opt-out requests are processed promptly (typically within 10 business days or as required by law). We honor all reasonable opt-out methods.

4. Information We Collect and Use (Privacy Provisions)

When you opt into our SMS program, we collect and process the following information:

• Your mobile phone number.
• Any additional details you voluntarily provide (e.g., name, account information, or preferences).
• Message engagement data (e.g., delivery status, read receipts, opt-in/opt-out      timestamps).

No Mobile Information Sharing for Marketing: No mobile information obtained through this SMS program will be shared with or sold to any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Message Content and Restrictions

• All messages will clearly identify TechnAssociates as the sender.
• We strive to send messages only between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM in the recipient’s local time zone, except for urgent operational or security-related messages.
• Messages may contain links; click at your own risk. We are not responsible for third-party sites.

You agree not to use our SMS program for any unlawful purpose or to transmit harmful content.

6. Carriers Are Not Liable

Carriers (e.g., your wireless provider) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Participation in our SMS program is subject to your carrier’s terms.

7. Changes to This SMS Policy

We may update this SMS Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where feasible, by sending a message or posting on our website. Your continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TechnAssociates is not liable for any damages arising from your participation in the SMS program, including delayed or failed delivery, content errors, or carrier issues. The program is provided "as is."

9. Governing Law

This SMS Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Dane County, Wisconsin.
